Wolla ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our AI-powered photo editing application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Wolla does not require account registration or login to use the App. This policy applies to all users of the App, regardless of how you access it (e.g., mobile devices, tablets).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

User Content: When you use the App, you may upload photos or images ("User Content"). We collect and store this User Content to process it (e.g., apply cinematic edits), save it to your creation history, and enable sharing features. Your User Content is stored securely and is only accessible to you through your device’s App instance, unless you choose to share it.

Edited Content: Versions of your User Content that have been edited using the App’s features ("Edited Content") are also collected and stored in your creation history for your convenience.

Technical Information: We may collect non-personal technical data about your use of the App, such as device type, operating system, App version, and usage patterns (e.g., which editing styles are most frequently used). This information is aggregated and anonymized, meaning it cannot be used to identify you personally.

Usage Data: We track how you interact with the App, such as the number of edits made, time spent using the App, and features accessed. This data is used to improve the App’s functionality and user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the App’s features, including processing edits, storing creation history, and enabling sharing.
To improve the App’s performance and user experience, such as optimizing editing algorithms or adding new styles based on usage patterns.
To troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the App functions properly.
To protect the security and integrity of the App and its users.

We do not use your personal information (or User Content) for marketing purposes, and we do not sell your information to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your User Content and Edited Content are stored locally on your device and, in some cases, on secure servers to enable creation history access across sessions. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encryption and secure storage protocols.

While we take reasonable steps to secure your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously update our security practices to minimize risks.

5. Data Retention

We retain your User Content and Edited Content for as long as they are in your creation history. You can delete individual items or your entire creation history at any time through the App’s settings. Once deleted, this content is permanently removed from our servers and your device (where applicable).

Anonymized technical and usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes to improve the App, as this data does not identify you personally.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your User Content, Edited Content, or personal information with third parties except in the following cases:

With Your Consent: If you choose to share your Edited Content via third-party platforms (e.g., social media), the content will be transferred to those platforms according to their privacy policies. We are not responsible for how these third parties handle your data.
For Service Provision: We may share anonymized, aggregated data with service providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud storage providers). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only to provide services to Wolla.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or the rights and safety of other users.

7. Your Control Over Your Data

You have the following controls over your information when using the App:

Delete any User Content or Edited Content from your creation history.
Stop using the App at any time, which will prevent further collection of your usage data.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
